A trend appears to be forming in the Amazing Football Prediction Game. For the second week in a row and the third time this season John N has taken the Guru award with eight points including two correct scoreline predictions. Not only that, but Alastair is once again our football numbnuts scoring a lowly four points. That is the fifth time Alastair has been awarded the Maize of shame and we are only in week seven.
Incredibly, Alastair is still fending off James E from the bottom of the table - but James is closing the gap thanks to his dabbling in the transfer market and snapping up goalscorer from the weekend Martins. This week's top overall scorer was Joel scoring eight points (with one correct score) but he also picked up a point thanks to a goal from Van Persie. This puts Joel just three points behind league leader James G who is on thirty three points.
Tim is still the man at calling the correct scoreline - this week he knocked up his eleventh correct prediction. James G still narrowly leads the most correct result predictions with thirty six - only one head of John N on thirty five.
