Round Eight Weekly Round up

It has been the week of giants. Three people scored in the double figure this week for their predictions alone. Andrew & Tim both scored ten points each, but it was this week’s guru – James G – that went the extra mile and scored a season’s best eleven points, including three correct score predictions, equalling Tim’s season’s best. In doing so, James G has held his position at the top of the table, fending off Joel who only managed six points this week but picked up three bonus points from his strikers.

This week’s numbnuts is not Alastair. The Maize award for complete football score predicting ignorance this week goes to form player John N. As if to show what an unforgiving game The Amazing Football Prediction Game is, the winner of the guru award for the last two weeks was going for his hat-trick only to shamed with a maize award this week.

James E’s slow start to the season is showing signs of picking up – he is has crawled his way up to be level pegging with Alastair this week thanks to seven points and a striker bonus point. Tim still leads the way with an incredible twelve correct score line predictions and James G is still the man at predicting the outcome of a game racking up his forty-forth correct result prediction.

No mention for John G this week – he is the Aston Villa of TAFPG, hanging around mid table but really not worth talking about. Let’s hope he has a big week or terrible week next week and maybe then we can mention his name.
