Round Nine Weekly Round up

Another exciting round in the Amazing Football Prediction Game that has seen Tim record his fourteenth correct score prediction and finish with this week's guru award with a very respectable nine points - stealing the show from Joel who also managed nine points but predicted one less correct score. Once again Alastair has proved all his doubter right by picking up his sixth Maize award of the season!

It was a good week for strikers. James E has remained in seventh place this week, but has closed the gap on sixth placed John G to just one point. James E picked up eight points this week and a further three points from his strikers Martins and Rooney. That gave him his best week total for the season and leaves Alastair with a mountain to climb as he trails the rest of the pack by seven points. Though as we approach November there is still a very long way to go...

Andrew also had a good week. He picked up eight points plus a further striker point from Keane. This has secured third place in the money zone ahead of Tim who spent points in the transfer market last week. James G reached the 50 correct result predictions milestone - the first to do so this season, though Joel is only one behind him on 49.

While there has not been a great amount of movement in the table this week, expect some more movement next week as some key battles for positions in the table just got a lot tighter.

All transfers for this weekend must be in today. There are only two more weekends before the transfer deadline.

The full league table can be found here.
